Life event. I may finally return to bowling.

I spent a large chunk of my youth in a kids league and family summer league. At some point in my teens I couldn't do it anymore. It felt more like a chore. But I've missed it. I don't have any plans to join a league. Looking to do something outside of the house for a change.

I got my 2nd ball (only ever had 2) re-drilled and cleaned up. I'm ready to make an ass of myself.

I went so far as to make a tool on my site to track games. Because I can't not over analyze everything.

It wasn’t impossible to find if I absolutely needed it now, but a casual walk in to Retro City Games and they had the Players Choice copy of Mario 64.

I left my copy at a friend’s house. Along with a blue oem controller. Never saw any of them again. Still have the booklet.

One of my favorite things about living in Vegas is sitting outside, in the dead of night, and looking out to towards the light of the Luxor. It comforts my insomnia.

I'm not sure what screwed me up more

That the exterior of my house was a soft pink

Or that my bedroom at my Dad's mom's house, previously my Aunt's bedroom, had a large poster of (late 80's) Madonna

Charging the soap dispenser with a PlayStation 5, just like I envisioned I would when I was playing Sega Genesis and cleaning my hands with a brick 🫧🧼🫧

I love when it's cloudy, cold and raining in Vegas. It's like a treat from the sun gods for putting up with their bullshit in the summer.

i need a lava lamp

i better decide on colors now so i’m not standing in Spencers disassociating…

My 1st grader snuck a (no service) cell phone into school and I'm at a loss for words how he got it past me this morning. In what fraction of a second of my back turned did he find the chance to stash it.

laying in bed waiting for the “anti-insomnia” meds to do something. tinnitus playing louder than the jazz. thinking about how it took me 20 years but i’m finally in a place where i feel good about my site.

when i only knew some html, i had blogger. always expected it to die. felt no control over it

painstakingly maintained static html

some abandoned db driven attempts

loss of interest

this time… feels right

I can still smell the paint used for the dinosaurs my mom painted on my walls when I was (maybe) 3yo
